  1. Hello! I have been thinking about chicken breeds. I’m not ready to dive in to chicken keeping yet but hope to in the future. I was looking at Chickens magazine and in their July/August 2022 issue on the Last Squawk they have a picture of a beautiful chicken. It is white with purple and blue accents (forgive my lack of chicken anatomy to name the parts). I thought as a blogger of chickens you might know what it is. If you haven’t seen the magazine, let me know and I will post a picture.

Tell me what you can about that beautiful breed!

    Thanks,
    Autumn

    1. Hello Autumn! I think that the chicken is a white silkie! I have not owned or raised this breed before but I really want to, they are known for having fur-like feathers and bright blue earlobes. And I hope that you will be able to raise chickens in the future!

      Thanks,
